Siberia W20 Semi-In-Ear 2.4G TWS Earphones Unboxing

Siberia W20, a rare 2.4G half-in-ear model on the market, feels excessively plasticky, with audio quality only adequate for basic listening. Latency is a highlight, but the bulky adapter requires tape to secure it—portability, you ask? Well, well. At this 300-yuan price point? The build feels cheap—truly a gaming headset?

Preface

Previously, I introduced the Edifier GT2S 2.4G TWS earbuds.

Since I prefer semi-in-ear earbuds, there are currently only two options for 2.4G semi-in-ear models on the market.

So I also purchased the Siberia W20.

Packaging

The upper left corner also has a sticker saying "Includes Thunder God Accelerator 99 Hours" (雷神加速器), truly living up to the name of a gaming headset.

Unboxing

Opening the box, it's a bit difficult to open.

On the very top is the instruction manual. After removing it, you'll find the earphones.

Instruction Manual and Such

In the top box, there's an instruction manual, warranty card, adapter function introduction, and a duration card for the Thunderobot Accelerator.

Earbuds Unit

I feel this looks quite different from the rendered images on the product description page……

Earphone Close-up

After removing the protective film, it still feels quite plasticky. Probably related to the material.

Earphone Ejection!

This design is quite special.

User Experience

I didn't quite fancy this headphone since unboxing.

So I didn't use it much.

Portability

The convenience is not great. The adapter is bulky and seems designed for phones. Not only is it inconvenient to carry, but to use it with a computer, you'll need to find some tape to stick it to the main unit. Otherwise, such a heavy adapter will dangle down, and the interface will soon develop poor contact.

Latency

The latency of 2.4G is indeed low, basically negligible.

Sound Quality (yīnzhì)

As for the sound quality, it's just for audible sound.

Battery Life

Haven't tested it, only used it on my phone, and it's acceptable

Build Quality & Texture

Slightly better than Edifier's, but still nothing to write home about.

Absolutely doesn't feel like the level of headphones costing over 300.
