Let's talk about the impact of keyboard knobs on the experience.

Preface

I have recently tried out quite a few keyboards.

I prefer those with knobs and small screens, so when purchasing, I have always tried to choose ones that come with both knobs and small screens, or at least with knobs.

This article introduces the keyboards in the list

About the Knob

Different keyboards may have knobs with varying functions, such as adjusting keyboard backlight brightness, controlling a small screen, and so on.

However, the most basic volume control function is universally available.

I really like this volume control feature—it's super convenient when using Steam or browsing the web.

Regarding volume adjustment, the increment per step varies between keyboards.

First, Windows has a total of 100 volume levels. When adjusting using keyboard shortcuts, it usually changes by 2 levels at a time. Only by clicking the volume icon in the bottom-right corner with the mouse can you adjust 1 level at a time.

Some knobs adjust by 2 volume levels per step, some require 2 steps to change 2 levels (you read that right—1 step does nothing), and some are even more extreme, changing 4 levels per step.

For me, I prefer knobs that adjust 2 volume levels per step—this increment feels just right.

Summary

Based on my usage experience, I've summarized the volume adjustment range for each keyboard's knob.

Keyboard Brand/ModelVolume Adjustment per Knob Turn

Leigaze KW75S2

I really couldn't figure out the one from DAREU...
