Talk about a few WinForm UI libraries I wish I had discovered earlier.

While browsing Zhihu recently, I came across an article from Gitee that introduced some open-source WinForm projects, including some related to UI libraries. That immediately caught my attention. Following the trail, I found several similar UI libraries. Seeing those familiar interfaces and code gave me a sense that the "good old days came flooding back"~

Unfortunately, the brief era of WinForm has long passed. Nowadays, the Web rules everything, and I’m afraid WinForm may only serve as a tool for reminiscing in the future……

SunnyUI

The interface has a somewhat dated look. I'm surprised this is an active open-source project—the last commit was just an hour ago. But regardless, the interface is still better-looking than the native one~

I tried using it, and it's okay—it's quite convenient to use. Just download the DLL file and reference it (though NuGet support would be even better~). However, there might be some performance issues—the IntegerUpDown control seems unresponsive to rapid clicks?

HZHControls

Let's start with a screenshot.

The primary color theme looks red, which is nice and vibrant. This control library is even more convenient to use; you can install it directly via NuGet, and once installed, it appears right in your toolbox.

I've also given it a quick try, and from a brief test, it works quite well—no issues encountered. It even includes packaged icons, making it very handy.

I didn't expect that using these interface component libraries would make the ancient WinForm look like it doesn't belong to that era. With various web-like elements and features like font icons, thinking back to when I first started learning programming, I also began with WinForm. These interface libraries are all great, and it's a pity I didn't discover them sooner. If I had known about such interface libraries back when WinForm was prevalent, how wonderful it would have been!
