Another set of anime keycaps? Hatsune Miku, huh, quite unique. Paired with the Thunderobot ZERO75, the effect is okay, but the feel is ridiculously stiff. How about from a different angle? The lighting effects are pretty good, the translucent look is quite flashy.

Foreword

Last time I unboxed another fancy anime keyboard

Only to be told by the keyboard expert that ~~anime is the best (just kidding)~~

Scary

So scared that I immediately ordered another set of anime keycaps

This time featuring Hatsune Miku

She should be the hottest idol in the anime world, right?

Plus, this keycap set matches perfectly with my previous Thunderobot ZERO75 keyboard.

Packaging

The packaging is very simple.

But given the price point, there's nothing much to complain about.

Unboxing

After opening the box, it looks like this.

This plastic appears to be disposable, I still need to buy a keycap storage box.

Preparing to Replace Keycaps

The keyboard featured this time is the Thunderobot ZERO75 (雷神ZERO75), previously introduced.

Preparing Tools

It happens that the compressed air (压缩空气) used last time for cleaning the computer case and NAS hasn't been used up, so it comes in handy for this.

Using compressed air to clean the keyboard is quite efficient.

Removing the Original Keycaps

The keyboard is so dirty underneath, this is where compressed air comes in handy.

It took a lot of effort to get this plastic box out.

The Effect After Installation

It took half an hour to clean everything and put the keycaps back on.

The effect looks pretty good, I think.

From another angle.

The bottom half of this set of keycaps is transparent, and the color matches this keyboard perfectly.

Lighting Effects

The lighting effects look great when turned on.

These translucent keycaps are quite nice.

Summary

I've been using this new set of keycaps for a while after swapping them in.

The overall experience is quite good.

However, the feel is relatively hard, and it gets tiring after extended typing.

I'm not sure if it's due to larger manufacturing tolerances or if the switches on my keyboard are just inherently stiffer.
