Preface
I've always been using wired earphones on my computer.
There are various drawbacks, such as poor connections or easily getting tangled when standing up.
I've tried connecting TWS Bluetooth earphones (TWS蓝牙耳机) to the computer, but the results weren't great—latency, sound quality issues, and the voice quality becoming very "plastic" during calls, which was unbearable.
Recently, while browsing a certain video platform (某小电视), I suddenly discovered a new product called "2.4G TWS."
It seemed like exactly what I was looking for.
However, this market is still new with few options, and since I prefer semi-in-ear style (半入耳式), there were hardly any choices available.
So, I decided to start by trying out the "Edifier (漫步者) GT2S" to test the waters~
Packaging
Fairly simple packaging.
Hecate is Edifier's gaming brand.

Back
The back side contains some information, and also features anti-counterfeiting labels and the like.

Unboxing
Open the box, and inside you will simply find the earphone case and a 2.4G adapter.

Accessories
First, there's a USB extension cable.
It's very considerate.
However, my computer has a Type-C port.

Material Overview
Earphone case, combo adapter (Type-C and USB combined, detachable)
Charging cable, manual (including promotional cards, etc.)
USB extension cable

User Manual
In addition to the usage instructions
There are also promotional materials such as brochures and stickers from the Hecate brand

Earphone Body (耳机本体)
Adapter and Earphone Case
The plastic feel is very strong, but for this price point, it's hard to complain, right?
The earphone case has a breathing light (breathing light effect), which definitely gives it a gaming vibe, but I can't help but feel sorry for its poor battery life.

Open the Case!
Opening the case, the earphones inside give off a vibe of Huaqiangbei (华强北).
The craftsmanship is fairly rough.

Take It Out
This adapter is quite decent.
Type-C and USB combined into one.
You can take it out—plug the Type-C end into your phone.
Once the USB is attached, plug it into the computer.
However, the earphone case itself can’t store this adapter.
To carry it around, you’ll need a small pouch to keep it in, so you don’t lose the adapter…

User Experience
It's been a few days since the headphones arrived.
I still haven't written an unboxing post.
The main reason is that I bought other headphones at the same time and I'm still using them.
Portability
My experience with Edifier has been quite good.
2.4G is indeed more convenient than Bluetooth—no pairing required, just plug in and use.
However, on my iQOO phone, I have to manually enable OTG in settings each time I plug it in, which is a bit inconvenient. My Nubia phone doesn't have this issue.
Latency
Returning to these earphones, the 2.4G latency is indeed minimal—hardly noticeable at all.
Sound Quality
Then, in terms of sound quality, it can only be described as just barely audible. After connecting to a computer, it's still sufficient to handle tasks like video conferences.
Battery Life
I didn't specifically test the battery life, but it can easily last for half a workday during my regular use.
Build Quality & Texture
I really have to complain about the texture—it’s a headset costing over 200 yuan, but it feels like something worth 9.9 yuan.
You could say Edifier really wants to make money. The "Baseus G10" at the same price point completely outperforms this Edifier model in build quality and texture...
The Baseus G10 even comes with a mobile app...
This Edifier one has nothing at all—it's simple and basic, but it can't show the battery level, which is a bit inconvenient.
Summary
If you're looking for 2.4G earbuds and prefer a semi-ear (半入耳式) style, there's virtually no choice to consider—just go for this Edifier model without hesitation. It has no major issues.
PS: There’s also another semi-ear (半入耳式) model from Siberia, but I don’t really recommend it. I’ll write an article about it soon.
