Nyanco CyberBlade-2.4G In-ear TWS Unboxing

The author praises the CyberBlade, giving full marks for the rotary knob design, but unfortunately, the headphone appearance is ugly. The noise cancellation is acceptable, and the transparency mode is impressive, though the flashy lighting is not suitable for the office. Overall, it justifies the price, but the in-ear design becomes uncomfortable after prolonged use.

Foreword

Although I'm not a big fan of in-ear headphones

In the relatively new 2.4G TWS market, there really aren't many semi-in-ear options to choose from.

It's basically just Edifier and Siberia (I'm not even considering those knock-off brands from Huaqiangbei)

When it comes to in-ears, there are many more choices.

From some reviews I watched on Bilibili, the recommended models in the 1000 RMB price range were from Angry Miao and Sony's INZONE buds.

The Sony one is actually over 1400 RMB on JD's self-operated store.

That exceeds my budget, although it can be found for under 1200 on a certain Pinduoduo-like platform.

But I decided to go for the 1000 RMB Angry Miao model first.

Interestingly, the Angry Miao wasn't even available on JD's self-operated store.

So I purchased it on a certain Tmall-like platform. With coupons, red packets, and other discounts, I got it for just over 800 RMB.

PS: Mine is the base version without the charging dock. In reality, the dock serves no real purpose other than for lighting.

Packaging

I have to say, the price is higher, and the quality really shows the difference.

The packaging feels very substantial.

Unboxing

Opening the box, the first thing that catches the eye is the earphones.

The design of this model is very unique—the earphone case is a large knob, which can be connected to a computer to adjust the volume.

I really like this design.

A bunch of replacement ear tips were included

Accessories Overview

The accessories are quite simple:

The headphone body (knob/dial), user manual, warranty card, promotional card, and two data cables

Headset Body

The entire earphone case is a single knob

The texture truly cannot be compared to those two or three hundred yuan ones from earlier

The bottom seems to be metal?

The feel of rotating the knob is also quite good

Unboxing

To be honest, I don't really like the look of these earphones inside.

Compare with the promotional images

No more false advertising!

The actual texture and quality are almost the same as the promotional images.

Drivers

Headphones at this price range all come with PC drivers now.

However, after actually using NuPhy's driver, I can only describe it as mediocre.

The interface feels like it's built with Electron—it's a bit laggy. Also, there's a bug with the headphone firmware upgrade; I couldn't get it to update successfully. But even without the upgrade, it shouldn't affect usage.

User Experience

The design of this headphone case gets a perfect score from me.

I really like the knob.

Portability

Regarding portability, it's pretty good since you only need to carry one box. However, that box is the adapter, and during use, you need to connect the Type-C to it.

This means it seems you can't use it directly on your phone.

For phone use, you can only use Bluetooth mode, which doesn't offer the low latency of 2.4G.

Latency

At this price point, it's definitely unbeatable.

Sound Quality

Although they are in-ear, I didn't find the sound quality particularly remarkable—perhaps slightly better than my Freebuds Pro?

Battery Life (续航)

The battery life is acceptable.

One more thing: since the charging case also functions as an adapter and needs to remain connected to the computer at all times, there is no need to worry about the battery life of the charging case.

Craftsmanship & Texture

It can only be said to justify the price point.

At this price, if the texture were also pretty bad, it would be inexcusable.

Noise Cancellation

Yes, this headphone does support active noise cancellation.

I tried it out, and the effect is pretty good, though it seems like it can't cancel out human voices?

Besides that, this headphone also has a transparency mode, and the effect is amazing! The pass-through sound is very natural, much better than the Freebuds Pro I'm using!

Summary

I quite like everything about this except that the two earbuds are a bit ugly.

However, the lighting is too flashy—I feel it's not very suitable for use in the office.

Also, in-ear (入耳式) earphones are still not very comfortable when worn for a long time.

In short, it's worth the price (the blogger didn't recommend wrong).
